This painting, in its physicality brings a new kind of layer to emerge in my work . It also allows the materials to become part of the picture plan. By using recycled plastic I what to bring to attention the environment and hopefully lead the viewer to think about some of the contradictions that lie within this process.

This is a new painting, sometimes people appear to have it all together but once you scratch the surface they are damaged and screaming for help.

This is one of my newer pieces of work i tend to work on a few painting at a time as they take so long to make This will be the first in which i have used bitumen.

"Outside Inside"

This was my work id developed with a handmade scrapper wide enough to cover the whole canvas if i'm completely honest i was trying to escape from the Gerhard Richter reference but to be honest you can't escape it when using the paint like this but it was a start for me learning about how i was going to express myself through the medium and layers were starting to be very important, i'm also struggling with decoration at this point.As i was asked to do one in purple!

This Painting is when i referred back to my first set of painting i did in my second year at university i kept using the the plastering trowel but added shape form and line so it's not so linear
