Logline:
Luz is a survivor of the Pinochet regime. Forty years after she left Chile, in a sort of a diary page, Luz imagines to tell her mother the things that she didn’t want to know.

Synopsis:
The real story of Luz: the conflictual relationship of a mother and her daughter with the chilean dictatorship as background. Luz is from the side of Allende, she believes in freedom, in democracy and in a respectful world where everyone has the same value. Her mother is catholic, supports Pinochet and the coup d’etat. Forty years later Luz’s mother is affected from dementia.
Nevertheless Luz wants to break the painful silence between her and her mother and she imagines to tell her the truth about her in Santiago, the facts where she was tragically involved that were consciously ignored by her mother.
A monologue in the form of a diary, a sort of written page that allows the protagonist to redeem herself from the pain of silence and to reconcile her (virtually) with her mother.

After a long and conflictual relationship with his wife, Roman finds himself alone.
To face economical problems he decides to sublet one room in his house.
Mel will be the first to answer his announcement.
When he moves in Roman’s house he will make him wonder about who he his and what

For the first time Roman confronts himself with someone who challenges him.

Logline: Ada lives suspended between reality and memory. The memory of her father and his gestures fill the silence of the days.

Synopsis: Ada is charmed by the subtle limit that separates reality and memory and lets the nostalgic memories of her father mix with the simple sound of everyday events.
Inspired by the poems in the collection "Memory in the Body" by Antonella Sica, the film explores the theme of death, its almost dreamlike presence in the world of the living and the power of gestures and its symbolic value in evoking memories.

THE WHEEL - DANCE THEATRE PERFORMANCE
A dialogue among different voices:
a director, a philosopher of language, two dancers. 
From the script by philosopher Sara Fortuna, inspired by Dogville from Lars von Trier, we will explore through dance a circular conceptual space organized in several steps: sleep/pre birth/origin, child openess to the adult world in its tensions, contradictions, competitions, failures and eventual coming back to the starting point (sleep/pre birth but also death).

We refer for instance to the tension between extroversion and introversion, sadism and masochism, to perception ambiguity and aspect change, contradictions, tautologies in bodily expression- notions explored via psychoanalytical (Jung, Freund, Lacan), psycological (Gibson), semiotical (Peirce) and philosophical (Kant, Wittgenstein) reflections.

Sometimes we need illusions to survive and we create a world that doesn’t correspond to reality.

We need to stay in a comfortable space. We are scared to leave. We have fear. We want security. We escape in our mental constructions and we finally find ourselves again.

Balancing on the two levels of reality and dream, the piece focuses on the theme of identity. Using psychological violence, an apparently stronger person tries to confirm herself and her existence destroying someone who appears weaker.

What would it be like if for one day, for one hour, for one minute we watch things with their eyes and hear what they want to tell us? In attempting to connect with these stories, dancers will lead us on a second journey.
