INSIDE –OUT
The concept Inside-Out illustrates the desire for discovery, for bringing out the inner emotions. The personal interior structures let themselves eviscerated and uncovered, showing their secret face to the world, the outcome being sometimes surprising even for his own creator. Within each of us exists a mysterious universe, a world defined by sensitivity, vulnerability but also power, which the artists is trying to bring out and evoke it using his best ways of expression. Even though this world can never show its whole beauty, the piece of art can create a bridge with the outside world.

The border between fantastic and real is crossed over by the Ark, from which explodes the tumultuos inner self, incarnated in characters that preserve the naivity, playfulness and abstract.
Visions metamorphosed into creatures that keep a cold relation between the material reality and the playful and unformulated,  ambiguous inner self.
Game and equilibrum, inside- outside, intuitive drawing translated into ceramics.

In a world that animates itself with a click of a mouse, we need to be conscious that every action becomes reality.


Inside-Out

The "Idea Egg" series represents the genesis of the creative process, the area of ​​intuitions, feelings, trials, which the artist goes through to give birth to a work of art. What I propose to the viewer is a philosophical idea visually translated into porcelain, which suggests that behind the object of art, which seems simple and harmonious, there is a thought process, restlessness, complex and abrasive, which allows the essence to penetrate, only in moments of inspirational grace.
The interior of the Ideatic Egg contains a universe of shapes representing the searches of creation, contrasting with the surface of the sphere, a symbol of perfection to which any artist tends. The collage of geometric shapes, which contrasts with the organic structures, suggests the combination of structured thinking with the disorder of creative search.
The creative act itself becomes the theme of artistic creation.

My neighbour

My works are narrative, they tell stories. The series of helmets aims to create a bridge between my ancestors, the Dacians who wore these ceremonial gold or silver helmets, the Danes, inspired by the history of the land where this residency takes place and one of my latest themes: our addiction to technology.
The helmet worn by the warrior kings symbolized the power conferred on them by the supreme Deity. My helmet suggests that Man is a God in this humanist era, through the infinite power provided by unlimited access to information and technology.


#My Neighbour

An expression of the new paradigm of human attitude in public under the influence of technology. The characters are an alter ego of the contemporary men, archetypes of posture and attitude, recent mass behaviors, striking. Information flows also become vital flows of the technological man, information is a need, a new source of energy. This concept made me ask questions about the future, about the new human nature and I tried to answer them with a small dose of humor.

The works are provided with the video installation if the exhibitors have the space to make a video projection.
