Salvatore Calì Italian artist born in Sicily (1966), currently lives and works in Nova Gorica (Slovenia).
Conceptual and multidisciplinary artist, after technical-scientific studies he approaches the making art by self taught. Active since 1987, he resumed his work in 2010 after a ten-year hiatus.
Photography, video and performance are the main means by which it expresses its own reflections on issues where spirituality, science, nature, social discourse become gestures and actions, which interact with the natural and human ecosphere. The invisible appears in the space of reality. In this sense, art and life meet in a common denominator, where everyone is called to be a careful and conscious citizen of the world.
